Two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua has signed a deal with CAA Sports for commercial representation. This puts him alongside stars like José Mourinho and Robert Lewandowski. The deal was made in partnership with Joshua’s 258 Group.
Freddie Cunningham, the Managing Director of 258 Group, will join CAA Sports Talent Group as Head of Client Strategy. Based in London, Cunningham will manage Joshua’s commercial work. This includes endorsements, speaking engagements, and publishing. He will work closely with 258 Group and its family office. Cunningham will also help CAA Sports grow its business with athletes worldwide. He will report to Roman Di Somma, who is the Head of International Talent at CAA Sports.
With this new deal, Joshua joins a list of other famous clients at CAA Sports. This list includes Son Heung-min, Liam Lawson, Sky Brown, Cole Palmer, Gary Neville, Laura Woods, and Kobbie Mainoo. This places Joshua among a select group of athletes and sports figures represented by CAA Sports.
The 36-year-old boxer turned professional in 2013 and has been a heavyweight champion twice. He last fought in December 2025, where he stopped Jake Paul in the sixth round during a match streamed on Netflix from Miami.
In December, Joshua was involved in a car crash in Nigeria. The accident sadly killed his personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and strength coach, Sina Ghami. Joshua himself was injured in the crash. The driver involved in the accident has been charged.
Joshua is preparing to return to the ring on July 25. He will face Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia.
Outside of boxing, Joshua and 258 Group have built a range of investments. These include technology, real estate, content production, and health and performance. He has also worked with brands like Under Armour, Audemars Piguet, Hugo Boss, Jaguar Land Rover, DAZN, EA Sports, Meta, and Beats by Dre.
After signing with CAA Sports, Joshua’s business interests, family office, and boxing matters will still be managed by 258 Group. Communications will stay with Soapbox, legal matters with Level, and promotional issues with Matchroom Boxing.
