Arsenal will meet the current champions Barcelona in the league phase of the 2026/27 Women’s Champions League. This matchup is a big deal as it features last season’s semi-finalists against the defending champions.
According to the UEFA draw on Friday, Arsenal will also play OL Lyonnes, Benfica, Paris FC, HB Koge, and Inter Milan in their six-match league phase. This phase runs from September 22 to December 16.
Last season, Arsenal reached the semi-finals, while Barcelona comes into this season as the defending champions.
Chelsea has a tough road ahead, with Paris Saint-Germain and OL Lyonnes among their opponents. The Women’s Super League champions will face PSG, Lyon, Roma, BK Hacken, Austria Wien, and OH Leuven during the league phase.
Manchester City is back in the competition for the first time since the 2024/25 season. They will also face PSG. City’s other opponents include Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, BK Hacken, Austria Wien, and Inter Milan.

The league phase starts on Matchday 1 on September 22 and 23. Matchday 2 follows on September 30 and October 1. Then, Matchday 3 will take place on October 28 and 29. Matchday 4 is set for November 10 and 11, and Matchday 5 is on November 18 and 19. The final fixtures for the league phase are scheduled for December 16.
After that, the knockout phase play-offs will begin in February 2027. The quarter-finals will take place in March and April, with the semi-finals in May.
The final is set for May 28, 29, or 30, 2027, at Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.
