Ajayi and Hull City Face Tough Match Against Chelsea

On the other hand, Hull has not conceded a single goal since moving up from the Championship. This creates an interesting matchup between the league's top-scoring team and its best defense.

Ajayi has played in all three of Hull’s league matches this season. He has logged 244 minutes on the pitch and scored in their opening 2-0 win against Manchester United.

The 32-year-old is a key player for Hull’s strong start, helping coach Sergej Jakirovic’s team keep clean sheets against Manchester United, Coventry City, and Aston Villa.

Hull has collected seven points from three matches and is currently in third place, just ahead of Chelsea on goal difference.

Chelsea has scored eight goals in their first three games under Xabi Alonso, but they have also let in seven goals. This shows their defense is weak despite their attacking talent.

They started with a 3-2 win against Fulham, followed by a 4-3 victory against Brighton, where they nearly gave up a three-goal lead. Their recent match ended in a 2-1 loss to Arsenal in Matchweek 3.

Hull has taken a different approach, using a solid 5-4-1 formation to frustrate other teams. Their 2-0 win over Manchester United was followed by a 1-0 victory against Coventry and a goalless draw against Aston Villa.

Ajayi and his teammates will face the challenge of stopping Chelsea's strong attacking players. Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, and Morgan Rogers are skilled at creating chances by moving around the field.

Palmer has been a key player for Alonso’s team, scoring twice and providing one assist in three league matches. He has also taken 12 shots.
