Chelsea bounced back in the Premier League with a 5-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday. Jordan Henderson scored twice at Stamford Bridge and helped the team secure the much-needed victory.

Henderson bagged two goals and assisted Morgan Rogers as Chelsea ended their three-match winless streak, as noted in match reports.

The former Liverpool captain started the scoring in the second minute, finishing a play set up by Cole Palmer. Just a minute later, Rogers made it 2-0 for Chelsea.

Chelsea took their 2-0 lead into halftime and quickly added to it when João Pedro scored in the 46th minute. Bournemouth responded with a goal from Evanilson in the 51st minute.

But João Pedro netted his second goal in the 67th minute, restoring Chelsea's three-goal lead. Henderson capped off the scoring in the 70th minute with a free-kick, securing his brace and the team’s big win.

This victory marked Chelsea's first win in four league matches and pushed them up to fifth place in the standings. Henderson, who is 36, made a memorable home debut for Chelsea with two goals and an assist, showing his skills in midfield.

Chelsea will aim to continue this momentum as the Premier League season goes on. Meanwhile, Bournemouth will look to bounce back after this heavy loss.
