Chita Agwu ends 11-year marriage to Johnson Maduabuchi

Nollywood actress Chita Agwu has shared that her marriage to Johnson Maduabuchi is officially over after 11 years together.

She made this known in an Instagram post on Monday. Agwu stated that a court has legally ended their marriage.

“After much thought and a journey that has been deeply personal, I wish to officially inform the public that my marriage has been legally dissolved by the court,” she said.

Agwu called this event the close of a chapter in her life. She mentioned she is looking forward to a new beginning filled with peace, grace, and dignity.

She pointed out that not every marriage ends as expected. Agwu emphasized that everyone deserves the chance to move on without facing judgment or public shame.

“Out of respect for everyone involved, I will not be sharing private details or engaging in public discussions about the circumstances surrounding my divorce,” she explained.

The actress asked the public to respect her privacy and that of her ex-husband.

Agwu expressed thanks to those who have supported her. She mentioned that she is focusing on healing and personal growth as she begins this new phase of her life.

“My marriage has ended, but my life continues. I move forward with my head held high, my dignity intact, and my heart open to the future,” she added.
