Sydney Talker Opens Up About Four Years of Celibacy

Skit maker and content creator, Sydney Egere, known as Sydney Talker, has shared that he has been celibate for four years. He said this choice was to help him focus on his personal growth and career.

In a video posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday, the comedian mentioned that July 27 will mark four years since he last slept in the same bed with a woman. He called the journey tough but rewarding.

"27th of this month will make it four years of celibacy for me. Technically, what I am trying to say is I have not slept on the same bed with a woman for the past four years," he explained.

Thinking about his experience, Sydney Talker said, "It’s not been easy, but I thank God. It is not by my power nor by my strength but by His grace."

He added that staying away from emotional distractions allowed him to study the content creation industry and plan for long-term success.

"In these past four years, I have studied my industry, content creation and I have come to a conclusion that if we do not put some things in place now, we will never get wealthy, so I took out time to study and stayed away from emotional activities and found solutions that will really help us as content creators," he said.

Sydney Talker believes that his celibacy period has helped him create ideas and solutions that can benefit his career and the larger content creation scene.
