Veteran entertainment figure and Don Jazzy's father, Collins Ajereh, has shared his worries about the ongoing issues in the famous music group, P-Square.
On Friday, Ajereh posted a throwback picture from 2015 on Instagram. The photo shows the moment he prayed for Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, and his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye.
In his message, Ajereh talked about the rift that has affected the Okoye family. He prayed for healing and reconciliation.
"As a father, I am very sorry and emotional about all that has happened to this family. We love them so much," Ajereh wrote.
He added, "All the same, I thank God for their lives, sustenance, endurance, decorum, matrimonial bond and will continue to keep them in my prayers.
"Time is a great healer and may God take control of their circumstances. What can I say? May all the tribulations pass away, God heal our broken hearts and grant peace to this family IJMN."
Ajereh’s heartfelt prayer comes during a time of serious public disputes and legal issues among the members of P-Square.
According to PUNCH, after a short reunion in late 2021, the conflict between Peter, his twin brother Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, and their older brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, turned into new public accusations, financial claims, and legal fights.
The situation escalated when Peter released a video series that revealed long-standing claims of financial betrayal and threats to his life. He also brought back old tensions regarding how his wife was treated in the family.
Earlier this year, Peter made a significant announcement. He said he would no longer celebrate his birthday on November 18 with his twin brother.
Ajereh’s public prayer reflects the wishes of many fans on social media who hope the two pop stars can end the feud and find peace.
