Enugu FRSC Sector Commander Passes Away

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced the death of its Sector Commander in Enugu State, Corps Commander Franklin Agbakoba.

This news was shared in a statement by the FRSC Deputy Corps Commander in charge of Enugu State Operations, Kyrian Okolo, on Friday in Enugu.

"The FRSC Enugu State Sector Command received the sad news of the demise of Corps Commander Franklin Agbakoba on Thursday, 30 July," the statement said.

The late Sector Commander passed away at the Niger Foundation Hospital in Enugu, where he was receiving treatment. His body has been taken to the Eastern Medical Centre in Enugu.

Before his death, Mr Agbakoba was known for encouraging teamwork between different agencies and for his strong commitment to road safety in Enugu State.

The statement did not share more details about the officer or the circumstances of his death.
