Tyson Fury has hinted that his fight with Anthony Joshua might be in trouble again.
Fury and Joshua seemed to have settled their issues in talks. Both sides announced their fight for December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
But chaos has erupted again. Dana White from Zuffa Boxing is listed by Netflix as the promoter of the event, along with Saudi businessman Turki Alalshikh.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has raised concerns about this development. This has cast doubt on a press conference planned for Wednesday.
Fury claimed he intentionally had a clause removed from his contract to keep White away from the fight. After some reports from The Ring’s Mike Coppinger, the ‘Gypsy King’ posted on his social media, saying the fight might not happen again.
He shouted on Instagram: “Breaking news. Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn are trying to pull out of this fight they are saying he is not going to fight now.
“They’re little s* house cowards, mainly to do with Eddie Hearn’s ego, he’s making up a million different things and threatening that ‘we’re not going to fight’, you little coward.
“AJ pull your finger out you white flag, yellow-bellied coward. You know now we’re coming home, now I’m coming home the Gypsy King is coming back to the United Kingdom to thrash you in front of all my fans in Wales.”
Later in his post, Fury mentioned that Alalshikh is looking for a backup fighter.
He continued: “Now you’ve got Turki Alalshikh finding alternative real men who will fight at the drop of a hat.
“So I hope you are happy, you little cowardly b**s. I’ve never seen anything like you. You’re pure s*houses, and this is mainly to do with Eddie Hearn’s ego.
“What a little p**k. He’s cost us the biggest fight in boxing history. Clown.”
