Erling Haaland is now at the top of the UEFA Nations League’s all-time scoring chart. He has scored 21 goals in the competition.
The Norway and Manchester City striker hit this mark after scoring two goals against Denmark at the start of the 2026/27 Nations League season. This brings his total to 21 goals in 16 matches.
On Saturday, UEFA announced that Haaland is followed by Aleksandar Mitrović from Serbia and Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal. Both have 15 goals in the competition.
Vedat Muriqi from Kosovo is in fourth place with 14 goals, while Romelu Lukaku from Belgium has scored 13.
Haaland’s record in the Nations League comes after he became Norway’s all-time leading scorer in 2024. He scored twice against Slovenia that year. This helped him break Jørgen Juve’s record, which had stood since 1934.
The Nations League started in 2018 and has seen many great goal scorers, with Ronaldo being one of the most famous. The Portugal captain scored a hat-trick against Switzerland in the semi-final of the first edition.
Swedish forward Viktor Gyökeres, who had a great 2024/25 season, is sixth on the all-time list with 11 goals. Kylian Mbappé from France has 10 goals.
Edin Džeko from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Eriksen from Denmark, and Danel Sinani from Luxembourg have all scored nine goals.
Players with eight goals include Memphis Depay from the Netherlands, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Georgia, Georges Mikautadze, Stefan Mugoša from Montenegro, Teemu Pukki from Finland, and Benjamin Šeško from Slovenia.
The scoring chart for the Nations League could change as the 2026/27 season continues. Matchday 2 kicks off on Sunday.
Haaland and Ronaldo will meet when Norway hosts Portugal on Sunday. Several other players on UEFA’s all-time scoring list will also play during Matchday 2.
From September 27 to 29, there will be 26 matches. This gives the top scorers a chance to increase their goal totals.
Many players on UEFA’s all-time scoring list are still active this season. This means the rankings could change as the league continues.

Matchday three of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League is set for September 30 to October 3, 2026, with most matches taking place from October 1 to 3.
