Igbo-Eze South Chairman Supports Youths with Aviation Training

Young people in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area, Enugu State, are getting new chances thanks to their council Chairman, Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze. He is making his dream of youth development a reality.

Recently, he sponsored some youths for a fully funded professional aviation training at Lagos Aviation Academy. The participants have started their classes in the Academy’s batch 94/95 Cabin Crew program, kicking off an exciting journey towards careers in aviation.

For these young individuals, this opportunity goes beyond just lessons. It is a chance to learn specialized skills, gain industry experience, and aim for jobs in a globally connected field.

With this initiative, Mr Ukwueze is helping young people prepare for a competitive world. This is part of his administration’s Progress Agenda, which aligns with Governor Peter Mbah’s vision of “Tomorrow Is Here.” It also highlights the growth of Enugu State’s aviation sector, especially after the launch of Enugu Airline.

At the local level, this vision becomes real when young people are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to compete beyond their surroundings. The Ukwueze administration shows how local governance can support the wider development goals of the Enugu State Government. This way, the benefits of a better state reach the youth in Igbo-Eze South.

Aviation is a specialized field, and getting professional training can lead to job opportunities and career growth. By providing this access, the chairman is helping these youths take practical steps towards their dreams while inspiring other young people to aim high.

The goal is to create a community where young people's dreams are not limited by their backgrounds or where they come from. Instead, they should be empowered by education, relevant skills, and chances for growth. This effort is part of the broader Progress Agenda, with human capital development being a key aspect of sustainable local progress.

The trainees starting their new journey at Lagos Aviation Academy carry the hopes of their families and communities. Their success means a lot, and for them, their future is already here.
