A representative from Imo State, Isinwa Chidozie Senator, has been crowned Mr Universe Nigeria 2026 and Mr Cosmo Nigeria.

Senator won at the grand finale of the pageant held on Saturday at Skyview, The Lekki Coliseum, Lagos.

In a video from the event shared by the Nigerian organisers, the anchor announced the winner. Mr Lagos was seen holding Senator's hand before the big announcement.

“The winner for Mr Cosmo Nigeria and Mr Universe 2026 is Mr Imo,” the anchor said, which made the audience cheer loudly.

His victory gives him the chance to represent Nigeria at the Mister Cosmo International pageant in Vietnam in January.

As part of his prizes, Senator will get a brand-new car, cash awards, and other gifts worth over N7 million.

Senator is a fashion model and a sports lover. He graduated from Imo State University, where he was also Mr Imo State University.

He was the first runner-up in a previous Misters of Nigeria competition before returning to compete for the national title.

This win is another big step in his pageant career. It also gives him the chance to represent Nigeria on an international level.

Mr Lagos came in as the first runner-up, while Mr Edo took the second runner-up spot.

In other categories, Mr Benue won the Gentlemanx Top Model, and Mr Enugu was awarded the Mister Tourism Africa Nigeria title.

Mr Ogun was also recognized as Man of the Year.

The Mr Universe Nigeria pageant aims to select representatives for international male pageants. Contestants came from various states across the country.

Senator will now represent Nigeria at the Mister Cosmo International pageant, where he will face off against contestants from other nations.

Senator’s win as Mr Universe Nigeria 2026 and Mr Cosmo Nigeria adds to his previous successes in male pageantry. This places him among Nigeria’s representatives at international competitions.
