Ini Okojie Celebrates Birthday and Welcomes Baby Boy

Ini Okojie, the actress, shared some big news on her birthday. She posted an emotional message on her social media, talking about becoming a mother.

Instead of her usual birthday photoshoots and themes, Ini chose to share a picture from the day her son was born. She said that moment changed her life forever.

Ini mentioned that this year’s birthday is special because it’s her first as a mother.

"Every year, my birthday comes with a photoshoot, glam, and a carefully planned concept.
This year, none of that felt quite right.
Instead, I’m sharing a photo from the day my son was born. The day my life changed forever.
Because as special as every birthday has been, this one feels different. This year, I celebrate as a mother," she wrote.

Ini described being a mother as the most humbling, challenging, and rewarding job she has ever had. She said the last few weeks have been filled with joy and tiredness.

"There is no role I have ever played that has humbled me, stretched me, challenged me, or filled my heart quite like this one.
These past weeks have been some of the most beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and rewarding of my life," she said.

Ini also talked about taking care of her newborn son. She called him "the cutest boy with the sweetest dimples," and said being a mother has helped her find strengths she never knew she had.

She said that this experience made her appreciate mothers everywhere. She admitted she didn't realize how tough the newborn phase could be.

"The newborn phase is no joke, and I definitely didn’t fully understand what was waiting for me. But even on the hardest days, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything," she wrote.

Feeling thankful, Ini said she feels honoured that God chose her to raise her son.
"Today, I celebrate another year of life, but even more than that, I celebrate the privilege of being his mum.
Happy birthday to me," she added.
