Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo was the star at her grandson Rakeem’s first birthday party in Lagos on Saturday.
Ojo joined Rakeem for a photoshoot before the celebration. She was also very involved in planning the event as everything came together.
The actress thanked those who helped with the celebration. Businesswoman Shade Okoya and actresses Lola Alao and Bose Alao provided souvenirs for the kids at the party.
The cowboy-themed birthday party had many celebrities in attendance. Stars showed up with their families to celebrate the son of Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, and her husband, Juma Jux.
Some of the guests included media personality Toke Makinwa and her daughter, Yhemo Lee and his wife Thayour B, and their son, actress Nkechi Blessing with her son, actor Kamo State, his wife, and their daughter. Designer Veekee James was also there.
The birthday celebration included games and fun activities. Rakeem’s parents, Priscilla and Juma Jux, joined in the fun as well.
Even though the event was for children, the presence of celebrities, music, dancing, and games made it enjoyable for both kids and adults.
Ojo’s outfit for the celebration also caught attention, sparking reactions from fans online.
Later, the actress hit the dance floor with her son Festus, bringing more life to the event.
The celebration followed Ojo sharing many moments from the preparations and thanking friends and supporters.
This first birthday was a big deal for Rakeem, with family and friends coming together to join the fun in Lagos.
