Legendary Nigerian Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, broke down in tears on stage after hearing about the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly called Ogogo.

Ogogo passed away on Sunday evening after fighting cancer. His death led to many Nigerians, including celebrities and politicians, sharing their condolences.

A video showing KWAM 1 getting emotional after learning about the actor’s death during his live performance at the Mushin 30th Anniversary Celebration has spread widely on social media.

The Fuji musician looked very shaken by the news and was comforted by one of his friends on stage.

Another Fuji musician, Malaika, also showed his emotions while honoring the late actor.

“His death really hit hard. I’m in pain,” Malaika said.

Both musicians had a touching moment as they mourned Ogogo and talked about the impact and legacy he left in the Nigerian entertainment scene.

Ogogo was a well-known figure in Yoruba-language Nollywood. He died just days after his daughters publicly asked for help as he struggled with stage-four cancer.
