The Confederation of African Football has announced the nominees for the 2026 CAF Women’s Awards.

The list, shared on the football body’s social media on Tuesday, includes 10 players from various African countries. They are nominated in three categories: Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Goalkeeper of the Year.

In the tweet, they also mentioned that 10 other countries were nominated for the National Team of the Year award.

Edo Queens goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma is nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Year award.

Also, Seimeyeha Akekoromowei from Benfica and Falconets, along with Oluwakemi Adegbuyi from Robo Queens and Flamingos, are up for Young Player of the Year.
