Mbappé won't play until 41 like Ronaldo

Kylian Mbappé has said he won’t follow Cristiano Ronaldo’s example by playing until he is 41.

On Thursday, Fabrizio Romano shared this news on X. Mbappé was asked about the idea of playing at a high level as long as Ronaldo has.

With a smile, the France captain said, “France would never let me play until I’m 41!”

Mbappé also praised Ronaldo for keeping his body and mind in great shape throughout his long career.

“Cristiano shows that if you’re in good physical and mental shape, you can play at this high level for a long time,” Mbappé said.

Even with his respect for Ronaldo’s ability to keep playing, Mbappé admitted he does not picture himself doing the same.

“In my case, I don’t see it happening,” he told BILD.

Ronaldo’s skill to compete at a top level into his 40s is rare, while Mbappé seems to have a different plan for his own career.
