The 2020s have seen a new group of top goal scorers in Europe's biggest leagues. Kylian Mbappé, Erling Haaland, and Harry Kane are at the front of this exciting race.

Unlike the last decade, which was mostly about Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, these legends are not in the top scorers list now that they have left European football. This information comes from Planet Football on Thursday.

Currently, Mbappé leads with 181 goals in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 since January 2020.

Haaland is close behind with 179 goals, while Kane has 178. Robert Lewandowski is fourth with 174 goals.

1. Kylian Mbappé, 181 goals

Mbappé has been one of the most exciting forwards in European football in the 2020s.

The French star scored many of his goals while playing for Paris Saint-Germain before moving to Real Madrid in 2024.

In his first season in La Liga, he netted 31 goals and followed it with another 25 in his second season, finishing as the top scorer in the league.

His total of 181 goals puts him just ahead of Haaland in the scoring charts.

2. Erling Haaland, 179 goals

Haaland has shown amazing scoring ability since he came to Europe’s top leagues.

He joined Borussia Dortmund in January 2020 and scored 62 goals in 67 matches before moving to Manchester City.
