Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, known as Mo Bimpe, has shared a tough time in her life when she felt left out of social events because she had no children.

Mo Bimpe, who is married to actor Lateef Adedimeji, spoke about her experience in an emotional post after attending the birthday party of baby Rakeem, the child of social media star Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, in Lagos on Saturday.

In her Instagram post on Sunday, Mo Bimpe said the party reminded her of a hard time when some friends and acquaintances purposely excluded her from events focused on children, like baby showers, naming ceremonies, and birthday parties.

She explained that coming home from the celebration made her emotional, not because of the party itself, but because it brought back memories of the struggles she faced before becoming a mother.

Mo Bimpe recalled feeling hurt and confused after noticing that she was often not invited to events by people she knew and got along with.

"There was a time when I wasn’t invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies, children’s birthdays, or anything related to kids," she said.

She initially thought the exclusions were mistakes, but later found out that some people intentionally left her out because she had no child at that time.

This experience was painful for her since she genuinely enjoyed being around children and wanted to celebrate joyful moments with her friends and family.

"At the time, it hurt deeply. Not because I wanted pity, but because I loved children. I wanted to celebrate with people. I wanted to share in their joy," she mentioned.

Mo Bimpe used this moment to highlight the emotional challenges many women face when dealing with infertility or delays in having children. She pointed out that the struggle goes deeper than what many see on the outside.

She said women in such situations deal with anxiety, societal pressure, intrusive questions, and personal heartbreak, all while trying to act strong.

"What many people don’t realize is that struggling to conceive is already hard enough. The waiting is hard. The questions are hard. The insults are hard. The silent prayers are hard," she explained.

Mo Bimpe asked people to be kinder and more inclusive. She stressed that a woman's worth should not depend on whether she has children or not.

She encouraged everyone to support women facing fertility challenges with love, friendship, and understanding.

"A woman without a child is not less deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, or celebration," she added.

Looking back on her own journey, the actress shared that her situation has changed, as she is now a mother of triplets.

She said going from waiting for a child to being a mother has strengthened her faith and shown her that tough times can turn around unexpectedly.

"There was a time I had no child. Today, I am a mother of triplets," she wrote.

Mo Bimpe also offered encouragement to women still trying to conceive, telling them not to lose hope despite their challenges.

She recognized that waiting for a child can be draining and lonely, especially when others seem to be moving forward in life.

Still, she believes that perseverance and faith are key. She expressed confidence that many women will eventually have their own success stories.

"If there is one thing my life has taught me, it is that God can change a story faster than anyone expects. What feels delayed is not denied," she said.

Mo Bimpe ended by sending prayers and support to women trusting God for children, assuring them that their stories are not finished.
