NBBF sets date and rules for its Elective Congress

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has announced the guidelines, timelines, and rules for its upcoming elective congress. This event will take place on 15 October in Abuja.

Lanre Glover, the Chairman of the NBBF Electoral Committee, said that the deadline for submitting nomination forms for the NBBF Board election is 2 p.m. on Thursday, 8 October.

The electoral process began with the formation of a seven-member Electoral Committee. This committee, led by Mr Glover, was set up during the Extraordinary Congress in Yola, Adamawa State.

There is also a three-member Appeals Committee in place. This committee will handle any appeals that come up during the electoral process.

Mr Glover assured that the committee will work to make sure the process is transparent.

"We are committed to having a transparent process in producing a new executive board that would hopefully drive Nigeria Basketball forward."
