Ned Nwoko has celebrated the birthdays of his two sons with Regina Daniels. Munir Neji Nwoko, known as Moon, just turned six. Khalifa Chimka Nwaorah Nwoko, called Khalif, is now four years old. This celebration brings attention to the ongoing custody fight where Ms Daniels claims she has not seen her kids for months.

As reported earlier, the custody case is still in an Abuja Family Court.

In a previous ruling, the court gave temporary custody of the boys to Mr Nwoko, who is a senator for Delta North. Ms Daniels can only get access to her children after she finishes supervised drug rehabilitation and gets an assessment from the Abuja Social Welfare Department.

The next court hearing is set for 4 February 2026.

On Sunday, Mr Nwoko posted a video on his verified Instagram page. The video showed him having fun with the boys at a school birthday celebration.

In his caption, he wrote:
"I joined my beloved sons, Moon and Khalifa, in celebrating another beautiful milestone with their school family. As Moon turns 6 and KC turns 4, my heart is filled with gratitude to God for His faithfulness."

He prayed for the boys, asking that they grow "in wisdom, discipline, compassion, and the fear of God." He also wished that their lives would be "filled with endless possibilities and remarkable achievements."

The birthday celebration included two themed cakes with the boys' favorite cartoon characters. They also shared goodie bags with classmates and other children at the party.

This celebration comes amid the public custody dispute between Mr Nwoko and Ms Daniels.

In December 2025, Ms Daniels posted on Facebook that she had not seen her children since mid-November that year.

She accused Mr Nwoko of firing her nannies and pressuring them to make false claims against her. She also claimed he is trying to get sole custody of the boys even though he already has them.

"The last time I spoke to my kids was mid-November," she wrote.

In response, Mr Nwoko’s communications team called her claims "misleading and inconsistent with long-established family practices." They made this statement on his official X account.

The team stated that Ms Daniels’ absence from the children was a personal choice, not because she was forced.

Ms Daniels also accused Mr Nwoko of using repeated social media posts featuring the kids to draw public attention instead of showing parental responsibility.

As reported earlier, the dispute became public in October 2025 when Ms Daniels claimed in a viral video that Mr Nwoko had physically assaulted her.

Mr Nwoko denied this and accused the actress of substance abuse, saying she needed rehabilitation.

In January 2026, Ms Daniels shared a negative drug test result from the United Kingdom, claiming it contradicted Mr Nwoko’s accusations. Mr Nwoko’s team later questioned the validity of that result.

The situation got worse when Ms Daniels claimed their marriage was never officially recognized.

"We were never married in any court of law, and no documents were signed," she said.

The couple married in 2019. Ms Daniels was Mr Nwoko’s sixth wife. Their marriage attracted attention due to their nearly 40-year age difference.

They have two sons together, Prince Munir, known as Moon, born in 2020, and Prince Khalifa, born in 2022.

As of now, Ms Daniels has not publicly replied to Mr Nwoko’s birthday post.
