Nollywood Actor Owolabi Ajasa Clears Death Rumours

Veteran Nollywood actor Owolabi Ajasa, known for his famous police roles and the catchphrase, “Ta lo pa chief?”, has denied reports claiming he is dead.

Rumours about the actor’s death spread on social media after an obituary poster stating he had passed away appeared online.

In response to these claims, Ajasa shared a video on his Instagram page on Friday. He assured his fans that he is alive and healthy.

“I’m still much alive in good health,” he said.

The actor also criticized those spreading the false news. He said, “To everyone posting my obituary around, I’m saying back to the sender to you and your family.”

Speaking directly to his fans in Nigeria and abroad, Ajasa said, “Good day everyone, my name still remains Owolabi Ajasa, your Nollywood police officer. I want to tell all my fans both in Nigeria and abroad that I’m still much alive. I’m alive, hale and hearty. There’s nothing wrong with me,” he said.
