The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has launched its campaign council for the 2027 general election. This marks the start of a state-wide effort to get ready for the party’s presidential, governorship, and other elections.
On Tuesday, the State Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, released the official lists naming members of various committees. These committees will handle the campaign and mobilization efforts across all 20 local government areas in Ogun State.
The campaign council includes party leaders, political figures, and key APC members. They will manage grassroots mobilization, media and publicity, logistics, outreach, and engagement with youth and women, along with other important parts of the campaign.
Sanusi explained that the committees were formed to strengthen the party’s structure. He wants to ensure the party coordinates its efforts well as it approaches the 2027 elections.
He urged all committee members to work together to achieve a huge win for the APC in the presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly elections.
The formation of this campaign team is a significant move in the APC’s plans for the 2027 elections. This comes as the party steps up its efforts to mobilize and strengthen its presence across Ogun State.
The lists of committee members are detailed in a 66-page document which was also released on Tuesday.
