Nigerian street-pop singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has said he wants to box fellow musician Terry G in a celebrity match. This comes after his upcoming fight with actor Charles Okocha.

Portable shared his thoughts during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds, which aired on Channels Television on Sunday.

He dismissed ideas that he wanted to fight social media star VeryDarkMan, saying Terry G is the one he wants to face.

When asked about VeryDarkMan, Portable simply said, “Terry G.” He added, “I want to fight Terry G.”

Portable believes that a fight with Terry G could help revive the musician’s career. He said, “If Terry G fights me one-on-one in boxing, I swear to God he will rise again. People will remind him again.”

When asked if he aimed to help Terry G with the fight, Portable said, “Yeah! I just train. I want to blow him.”

He also talked about his plans for an international music tour after the boxing match with Charles Okocha.

“After I fight and I beat Charles Okocha, I’m going to London. If I come back from London, I want to fight Terry G,” he said. He mentioned other places he wants to visit on his 2026 tour, including the United States, Russia, Malaysia, Dubai, and South Africa.

On his boxing career, Portable said he has helped bring celebrity boxing to Nigeria.

“I want to face my career. I don try for Nigeria. I use my own music career, I use am build boxing, Nigeria boxing. I use am rise am.”

He challenged others in boxing, saying, “Which boxer fit come out say he collect money pass me for this Nigeria? You dey collect reach ₦100 million. How many belts do you have? How many rounds did you fight? How much did you collect?”

Portable also revealed that he has received ₦50 million ahead of his fight with Charles Okocha and that the total purse for the fight is ₦150 million.

“I don collect ₦50 million. We are fighting for ₦150 million,” he said.

He is confident about beating Okocha, insisting, “Don’t worry, not if I win. I’m winning this match.”

The fight is set for July 31, 2026. Portable told fans to expect him to come out on top, saying, “I’m the face of boxing in Nigeria 2026.”

He also reaffirmed his support for President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress.

This rematch was set up after Okocha activated the rematch clause following Portable’s win in their first fight.

Both fighters have exchanged words before the match. Okocha is training with WBO Intercontinental heavyweight champion Moses Itauma, while Portable is preparing with WBA Africa lightweight champion Taiwo “Esehpo” Agbaje.

Besides Okocha, Portable has fought and knocked out singer Speed Darlington. He also beat Kizz Daniel’s bodyguard, Kelvin Atobiloye, known as Kelvin Power, in a widely shared exhibition bout. However, the bodyguard claimed the fight was just a paid advert.

Portable faced his first defeat against content creator Carter Efe by unanimous decision in May 2026 at the Chaos in the Ring event.
