Mr Mojeed recently finished his defense at the university’s Department of Mass Communication. This was shared by his lead supervisor, Abiodun Adeniyi, who is a professor of mass communication and also the Vice-Chancellor of Baze University.

His research is called “Collaborative Dynamics in Investigative Journalism: An Evaluation of Partnerships in Selected Nigerian Newsrooms.”

Mr Mojeed started the PhD program four years ago. He wanted to study collaborative journalism and how it can affect the future of the profession.

Mr Adeniyi praised Mr Mojeed for his professionalism. He noted that Mr Mojeed is one of the journalists who do not accept bribes while doing their work. At PREMIUM TIMES, where Mr Mojeed works, taking bribes is not allowed and can lead to dismissal.
