On Thursday, the Nigerian Army shared a post on X about the troops responding to information about suspected terrorists moving near Madaci Forest in Sabuwa Local Government Area. They quickly went to intercept the suspects.
The military said their operation caused "confusion in the enemy camp," which helped them rescue the victims.
Among those rescued were a mother with her baby, three minors, and some young adults from Danja and Funtua Local Government Areas.
After the rescue, the military handed the victims over to the Chairman of Bakori Local Government Area, Hon. Abubakar Musa. He will help reunite them with their families.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by security forces to fight crime and protect communities in the region.
