Taye Currency Celebrates Son's Achievement at Nigerian Bar

Popular Fuji musician, Taye Adebisi, known as Taye Currency, is celebrating his son, Samsudeen Adebisi, after he was called to the Nigerian Bar.

The singer from Ibadan shared the good news on his Instagram page on Tuesday. He called it a reward for all the hard work, dedication, and resilience over the years.

In a video from the event, Taye Currency said, “I am incredibly proud of you. Your dedication, late-night studies, and resilience have finally paid off. Officially becoming a barrister and solicitor is a monumental milestone. May your legal career be filled with wisdom, success and fulfilment. Congratulations on this great achievement, my son, Barrister Samsudeen Adebisi. More success ahead.”

The video showed a touching moment between father and son. Samsudeen wore the traditional wig and black gown for new legal practitioners. Taye Currency hugged him tightly and exchanged emotional words, clearly filled with joy as they celebrated this big moment together.

This achievement adds to the list of successes from Taye Currency’s children. He often says they are his greatest pride. One of his sons, Yusuf Adebisi, was a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan South-West State Constituency I.

Yusuf was elected under the Peoples Democratic Party and was one of the youngest members during his time in the Assembly.

Taye Currency has also spoken about his daughters’ successes. He feels grateful that all his children are making names for themselves in their careers. In interviews, he has said their achievements stem from discipline, good upbringing, and the importance he places on education, even with his busy music career.
