Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba will be buried in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

This was shared in an obituary from her family on her Instagram page on Monday.

The family said Osoba's body will leave the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital in Sagamu at 9am. The burial service will take place from 10am to 11am at Akesan Club, which is opposite Iperu Morning Market in Iperu Remo.

The obituary read, “Body leaves OSUTH Sagamu by 9am. Burial service Thursday 10th of September, 10:00am, 11:00am, Akesan Club opposite Iperu Morning Market, Iperu Remo.”

It also mentioned, “Interment: Iperu Remo Cemetery ground, immediately after burial service,” and requested that attendees wear “White.”

Osoba, also called Tope Osoba, passed away in early August 2026 at the age of 40.

The Yoruba actress and producer had been part of the Nigerian film scene for nearly twenty years. She appeared in productions like Oogun Mi.

PUNCH Online reported that Osoba had publicly fought breast cancer around two years before her death. She sought help for treatment and surgery during that time.

In August 2025, she announced her recovery and return to acting. She described that period as one of healing, rebranding, and empowerment.

But the details surrounding her death remain unclear. There are different stories from her fiancé and family members.

Her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, said she died after being taken to a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos. However, relatives provided a different story about her last moments. PUNCH Online said these conflicting stories have raised questions about what happened before her death.

Yomi Fabiyi has called for an investigation and autopsy to clarify the circumstances of the actress' death.

After her passing, the family warned against spreading unverified information about what led to her death. They asked the public and media to rely on facts shared through their official channels.

Her burial was first set for August 13 in Iperu Remo but was postponed indefinitely by the family.

Now, the family has confirmed that her burial will take place on Thursday, September 10.
