World record holder Tobi Amusan has qualified for the 2026 Wanda Diamond League Final after showing strong performances in the women’s 100m hurdles this season. Amusan has collected 28 points from five Diamond League events, ensuring her spot in the final, which will take place on September 4 and 5 in Brussels, Belgium.

Amusan is currently in second place in the Diamond League standings, just behind American Masai Russell, who leads with 32 points. Both athletes still have races left in London, Lausanne, Silesia, and Zurich before the final.

Russell has the fastest time in the world this year at 12.14 seconds, while Amusan's best time this season is 12.28 seconds, a mark she has achieved three times. The two are expected to face off again in Brussels. Amusan is looking to win her fourth Diamond League title after winning three in a row from 2021 to 2023.

Amusan remains the world record holder in the 100m hurdles. She set the record at 12.12 seconds during her amazing run to the world title four years ago in Eugene.
