2Baba set to perform at Pero's nightclub

Music star Innocent "2Baba" Idibia will perform at Lasolas Night Club. The club is owned by his former partner, Pero Adeniyi, and her husband, Ochuko Agofure.

The nightclub is located at Ipaja, Lagos. It opened on 23 December 2024 and is managed by Ms Adeniyi and her husband.

This information came from a statement that accompanied a video Ms Adeniyi shared on her Instagram page on Sunday.

In the video, featuring 2Baba and his first daughter with Ms Adeniyi, Ehikowoicho, the "African Queen" singer announced he will perform at the nightclub on 13 November.

An Evening to Remember

Ms Adeniyi described 2Baba's performance as an evening full of great music, cherished memories, and unforgettable moments.

She talked about how life changes over time. Sometimes, different seasons take people in unexpected directions.

But she believes that despite life's twists, things will eventually work out.

In the video, 2Baba encouraged his fans and clubgoers to come out in large numbers and have a great time.

He assured them of an exciting experience, saying there would be no restrictions and everyone could enjoy themselves.

"As you already know, you know what? 13 November at Lasolas Night Club in Ikeja, everybody come out and let’s enjoy ourselves. No shaking, let’s be free."

History with Pero

2Baba's upcoming performance marks an interesting moment as it brings him and his former partner together.

For almost twenty years, Ms Adeniyi has been a significant part of the singer's life. This led many to think he might marry her.

However, 2Baba surprised many when he married actress Annie Macaulay in a grand ceremony in Dubai in 2012. They have since separated.

Ms Adeniyi, whose relationship with the singer became known in 2005, has three children with him: Ehikowoicho, Justin, and Innocent Idibia Jnr.
