She made the announcement in a post on her Instagram page on Sunday. Adunni described the experience as filled with private struggles and a choice to keep it away from the public eye.

“Today, on my birthday, I’m finally sharing what we’ve protected for over two years,” she wrote. She added that the journey included “silent battles, moments that tested me, and a strength I had to grow into.”

Adunni explained that the choice to stay private was intentional. She said it was not about keeping secrets but about finding peace. “We chose privacy. Not because we owed anyone secrecy but because peace is priceless, and not everything good needs an audience. We wanted to enjoy our blessing,” she stated.

She also tackled public views about her personal life. Adunni said people often make assumptions about single mothers. She insisted her journey should not be seen through the lens of gossip.

“Not every single mother fits your assumptions. Not every story is a scandal. Not every blessing comes with drama attached,” she wrote. She described her daughter as a “beautiful story in His own time.”

Adunni also shared that the path to motherhood took nearly ten years. She called the birth of her daughter an answered prayer. “A journey of almost a decade! Almighty blessed us with our first child together. Our baby girl, our answered prayer, my evidence that God still writes beautiful stories in His own time,” she said.
