PSG Women midfielder Rasheedat Ajibade is enjoying the club’s great start to the new season. They kept their winning streak alive with a 2-0 win over Strasbourg Women in the second week of the French Women’s top league this past weekend.
Ajibade played for 83 minutes as PSG grabbed their second straight league win. They are still perfect at the start of the season.
“+3 points secured with the girls. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit,” Ajibade posted on Sunday. She quoted the Bible in her message.
After a disappointing finish to last season, Ajibade and PSG have kicked off this term on a high note. The French club has won their first two league matches, and Ajibade has scored once.
She also found the net in their Champions League match, helping PSG to a 5-1 win over Frankfurt Women to move forward in the tournament.
The Nigerian captain is looking forward to a successful 2026/27 season. She hopes to win her first major trophy with PSG.
Ajibade joined PSG from Atletico Madrid Women last season. She scored just three goals in 23 games across all competitions.
Now, at 26 years old, she wants to build on her strong start as PSG aims for success in both domestic and European competitions this season.
