Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has hinted that a new podcast episode featuring former Super Eagles striker Peter Osaze Odemwingie is coming soon. This episode will focus on his ten years with the Nigeria Football Federation and other parts of his career, according to The PUNCH.
A promotional poster shared on social media for episode 14 is titled, “The NFF. The Feuds. The Silence.” The poster includes photos and says the episode will be available soon on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
Ajibade commented on the announcement, saying it took ten years to put together the story. She highlighted Odemwingie’s impressive career, where he played for the Super Eagles 65 times and scored 38 Premier League goals before becoming a PGA professional golfer.
“Some stories take years to tell. This one took ten. He wore the Super Eagles shirt 65 times. Scored 38 Premier League goals. Became a PGA Professional Golfer. And through all of it, the NFF, the feuds, the silence, he never stopped believing that God was in every chapter,” Ajibade wrote in her post.
She also mentioned that the episode will share all the details without holding back.
The Nigeria Football Federation often finds itself in the news for various reasons. There have been disputes over coaching appointments, unpaid bonuses, and clashes with players. Many Nigerian football fans will be eager to hear what Ajibade and Odemwingie will reveal in this upcoming episode.
