Arsenal have agreed to a pre-contract deal to sign Georgian forward Andria Bartishvili. The 17-year-old will join the Premier League team in July 2027.
Arsenal shared the news on their official website on Friday. They said the deal depends on completing the necessary regulatory checks.
Bartishvili will turn 18 when he arrives in north London. He can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder.
He is currently on loan at Iberia 1999 in Georgia's top league. He joined them from Kolkheti 1913, who play one division lower.
Arsenal noted that Bartishvili made his Erovnuli Liga debut with Kolkheti in 2025. He was named the league's best Under-17 player at the end of that season.
He moved to Iberia 1999 for the 2026 season. In May, he scored his first professional goal, netting the winner in a 1-0 match against Gagra.
On the international stage, Bartishvili has played for Georgia's youth teams.
Arsenal mentioned, "Having impressed in his two under-16s appearances, he moved up to the under-17s, where he scored on his debut against Slovenia."
The club said that after playing at the Under-17 level, "the winger moved up to under-18s and quickly under-21s, where he has now made two appearances for Georgia."
In their announcement, Arsenal said, "We are delighted to announce we’ve reached a pre-contract agreement to sign Georgian forward Andria Bartishvili in July 2027."
They added, "Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to Andria’s arrival next summer and wishes him luck for the rest of this season at Iberia 1999."
The deal still needs the completion of regulatory checks, according to the club.
