BBNaija S11: Aikou and Flora May Get Another Shot at the Grand Prize

Big Brother Naija housemates Aikou and Flora have a new chance to fight for the ₦160m grand prize. This follows a twist announced during Sunday’s live eviction show.

Aikou and Flora were chosen as the first Gambits of the season. This meant they would stay in the house until the grand finale but could not win the grand prize.

During the live show on Sunday, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu revealed the twist called “Operation Release the Gambit.” This twist gives viewers the power to decide if one or both housemates will return to the competition.

“Big Brother has one more twist for you tonight. Operation Release the Gambit begins immediately after the live show. The polls will open, and you will decide whether to release one or both of the Gambits, giving them the opportunity to play for the prize. The power is in your hands,” Ebuka said.

Viewers can choose from three options: reinstate Aikou, reinstate Flora, or reinstate both housemates.

Aikou and Flora were the first Gambits after fans voted them into those positions earlier in the season. Flora became the female Gambit with 29.38 percent of the votes, while Aikou got the male Gambit position with 9.10 percent. Ricky received 7.30 percent, and Abi got 6.07 percent.

The Gambit twist allowed Aikou and Flora to stay in the house until the finale. But Biggie made it clear they would lose the chance to win the ₦160m grand prize for this security.

With this new twist, viewers can now decide if either or both Gambits will return to compete for the top prize.
