Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, known as Davido, has shared plans for a three-night concert at the National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos. This event will take place in December.
Davido announced the concert on his verified Instagram page on Friday. The event is called "Oriadè: The Residency" and is set for December 17 to 19.
In his post, the singer wrote: "LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be."
He added, "The world has shown us so much love" in the Instagram message.
The announcement included videos of Davido performing in front of big crowds. There were also clips showing Lagos and the National Theatre.
During these three nights, Davido will perform at the National Theatre. This concert will celebrate 15 years of his music career.
Davido became famous in 2011 with his hit song "Dami Duro." Since then, he has grown to be one of Africa’s biggest stars.
His hits include popular songs like "If," "Fall," and "Aye." He has also worked with international artists, helping to take Afrobeats to the global stage.
Davido has sold out venues in Africa, Europe, and North America. He is still one of the most important figures in the Afrobeats genre.
