FIFA has announced that Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, will perform at the Los Angeles leg of the World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series. This concert is set for Wednesday, June 10.

A statement from FIFA on Tuesday revealed that the Los Angeles concert will also feature Diplo’s Major Lazer. More artists are expected to be added to the lineup.

This event is part of a unique live concert series happening in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. It is designed to build excitement for the upcoming tournament.

“Los Angeles will host a high-energy celebration, featuring Diplo’s Major Lazer and Davido, the first artists announced for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music, football, and culture,” FIFA said.

The concert will take place at the Crypto.com Arena, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. PT. The live broadcast is set to start at 6:00 p.m. PT.

FIFA explained that the concert will link performances from the three host countries. Fans will also enjoy live acts streamed from Mexico City and Toronto.

“The Countdown Concert series celebrates the passion, unity, and cultural connections across three countries and around the world that define the FIFA World Cup 2026,” said Manolo Zubiria, FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer, USA.

“Just two days before the opening match in the United States, Los Angeles will put on an unforgettable show featuring top talent in one of the world’s premier entertainment capitals. It will bring together music, football, and fans in a global celebration as we prepare to welcome the world,” he added.

FIFA stated that fans can buy tickets starting Wednesday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. PST. The concert will also be streamed globally on FIFA’s digital platforms. This includes a livestream on the FIFA World Cup TikTok account, which will be the exclusive social media livestream partner.

The full concert and behind-the-scenes content will be available the following day on FIFA’s video-on-demand platform, VuMe Live.
