The Federal Capital Territory Football Association has declared June 19 as the last day for clubs to register for the 2025/2026 season of the FCT FA Division One League in Abuja.
The Secretary of the FCT FA, Haruna Ilerika, shared this news in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja. Registration began on April 8 and was supposed to end on May 30, but it has now been pushed to June 19.
"This is to give clubs adequate time to complete their payments," he said.
Ilerika explained that the registration fees are set at ₦150,000 for Division One clubs and ₦120,000 for Division Two clubs.
"Clubs are directed to make payments into the FCT FA account and send proof of payment, clearly stating the name of their team.
The Division One League is set to start on June 29, and there will be no more extensions for registration.
The association warns that any Division One club that does not meet the registration deadline will be replaced automatically.
The FCT FA encourages all clubs involved to follow the registration rules to ensure a smooth start to the 2025/2026 league season," he said.
