The Premier League has shared its holiday fixtures for the 2026/27 season. Seven matches are set for Boxing Day as teams gear up for a busy Christmas and New Year period.
According to the Premier League, these fixtures cover match rounds 17 to 20 from December 26 to January 7, 2027. They were released early to help fans plan their travel and matchday arrangements. This announcement came on Thursday.
On Boxing Day, Aston Villa will play Leeds in the early match. Everton will take on Sunderland, Fulham will meet Brighton, Ipswich will face Brentford, and Tottenham will welcome Bournemouth.
Liverpool will head to Hull for the 17:30 match. Later, Newcastle will host Manchester City at 20:00 to complete the day’s games.
The next day, Coventry will host Chelsea, Manchester United will play Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace will welcome Arsenal.
The festive schedule continues on December 29 and 30 with several exciting matches. Everton will face Manchester City, and Aston Villa will go up against Liverpool.
On New Year’s Day, Leeds will host Everton. The first weekend of 2027 will also have a full lineup, featuring Bournemouth against Aston Villa and Chelsea’s clash with Newcastle.
On January 3, Manchester City will meet Tottenham. The festive match schedule will wrap up with a busy midweek. Manchester United will host Newcastle on January 7, marking the last game of this period.
The Premier League stated that clubs will have at least 60 hours between matches during the Christmas and New Year period. This move aims to ease the strain of the packed festive schedule, especially with the growing European and international calendar.
Further broadcast details for November matches are expected in the week starting September 21. The selections for December matches are due to be announced in the week starting October 19.
