The return of European club football is giving Nigerian fans another reason to gather at bars and viewing centres. Several Super Eagles players are already making their mark as the new season kicks off.

Stars like Semi Ajayi and Chidera Ejuke set the stage last weekend with goals in the Premier League and La Liga. Their performances are adding local excitement to the new European football season.

With this in mind, Goldberg, the official beer of the Super Eagles, has launched the second edition of its Back to Bar promotion.

The promotion runs until 30 November. It will give consumers at participating outlets instant airtime rewards and a chance to win N250,000 every week.

The first edition also had instant airtime rewards. Some lucky winners even got trips to the United Kingdom and Qatar to watch football live.

For this new edition, customers who buy two bottles at participating outlets will receive N400 worth of airtime and an entry into the weekly cash draw.

This promotion is available at selected outlets in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Benin, Makurdi, Jos and Yola.

As the Premier League and other major European leagues begin, Nigerian fans are getting back to their weekend football routines.

The performances of Super Eagles players abroad are adding to the excitement. This gives Nigerian supporters even more reasons to follow the new season closely.

Kunle Aroyehun, senior manager at Goldberg, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said they decided to bring back the promotion because of the great response to the first edition.

"The first edition of Back to Bar showed us just how strongly consumers connected with the campaign. The response was clear; people showed up, participated, and made it a part of their experience. Seeing that success made it an easy decision to bring it back. With Back to Bar 2.0, we are building on that momentum by creating even more opportunities for consumers to come together, enjoy their time at the bars and be rewarded," he said.
