Big Brother Naija organisers have shown off the new house for Season 11. The design is based on an "upside down" and "topsy-turvy" theme. It features 52 robotic cameras, a new Head of House suite, and several fresh living spaces.
Preparations for this season kicked off in November 2025, about nine months before the show starts on July 26, 2026. The organisers shared a statement online on Sunday. They mentioned that the project began with developing the concept and design, then moved on to buying materials and detailed planning.
Although planning took several months, turning the building into a working television production facility took just two months.
The house sits next to the live television studio. It's built to house more than 20 contestants and offers complete camera coverage in all competition areas.
To monitor activities inside, the house has 52 robotic pan-tilt-zoom cameras, seven handheld cameras, 59 microphones, 36 antenna blades, and 19 speakers. This setup captures every conversation and interaction among housemates throughout the season.
The organisers said they redesign the BBNaija house every year to improve viewers' experience and storytelling through layout and production design.
One major change came in Season 9 in 2024. Then, the staircase was moved to the centre of the living room, and the bedrooms were shifted upstairs. This change made it easier for contestants to move around and improved camera angles.
According to the organisers, every design choice is guided by creativity and production needs. They focus on visibility, camera positions, and how housemates naturally interact in the space.
