Kane scores 100th Bundesliga goal as Bayern thrashes Union 7-0

Bayern Munich's Harry Kane scored twice in their 7-0 win over Union Berlin on Friday. He became the fastest player to reach 100 Bundesliga goals.

Kane hit his 100th and 101st goals in just 98 domestic matches. He broke the previous record set by Dieter Mueller of Cologne in 1977 by 31 games.

This is not the first record Kane has broken at Bayern. He is already the fastest player to score 75, 100, and 150 goals in all competitions.

With this double, Kane has now scored 156 goals in 156 games for Bayern. This includes both domestic and international matches.

But the night belonged to Michael Olise. The French star scored a brilliant hat-trick against Union, who are still looking for their first win this season.

Bayern celebrated Oktoberfest with a special kit and started the game in a joyful mood. They took the lead in the 18th minute with a fantastic goal from Jamal Musiala. Alphonso Davies set him up, and Musiala fired a powerful shot that left goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow helpless.

Soon after, Luis Diaz had a goal ruled out for offside, but Kane got his chance from the penalty spot. Union defender Tom Rothe fouled Olise, and Kane made no mistake with the penalty, marking his milestone goal.

Bayern quickly made it 3-0 before half-time. Olise received a pass from Musiala and scored with a lovely shot into the top corner from the edge of the box. But there was more to come from Olise.

In the second half, Union had a couple of chances, but Bayern's keeper Manuel Neuer made two great saves. Union has only scored four goals and conceded 17 in their first four games this season.

That miss was critical for Union. They went 4-0 down in the 54th minute. Olise sent a perfect cross to Kane, who glanced in his second goal of the night.

Bayern's coach Vincent Kompany brought on Ismael Saibari just after the hour. Within seven minutes, Saibari scored his first goal for Bayern. Davies assisted again, and Saibari powered in Bayern's fifth.

Olise scored again three minutes later. He beat the offside trap, rounded Ronnow, and shot in off the near post for the sixth goal.

Despite Kane’s record, Olise was the main star of the match. He completed his hat-trick three minutes later with a brilliant shot from outside the box after receiving a pass from Tom Bishof.

This win is Bayern’s biggest margin since their 8-1 victory over Wolfsburg in January. They are now top of the Bundesliga table.

Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund, the only teams with perfect records this season, can reclaim the top spot on Saturday when they play Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart respectively.
