Leeds has signed Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo on Friday. The deal is worth about £34 million, which is around $45 million.

The 23-year-old centre-back played for Bosnia at the World Cup. He has signed a five-year contract with the Premier League club.

Leeds said, “Muharemovic becomes our second signing of the summer and everyone at Leeds would like to welcome him to the club, as we continue our preparations for the 2026-27 Premier League season.”

Muharemovic did well with Sassuolo in Serie A last season. He will replace Pascal Struijk, who moved to Brighton for £20 million in June.

He joins Harry Wilson, who recently came to Elland Road after leaving Fulham on a free transfer earlier this summer.
