Ademola Lookman scored as Atletico Madrid put on a great show to beat Sevilla 3-1 in their LaLiga match on Saturday.

Atletico got off to a quick start, taking the lead in the fourth minute. Alex Baena scored after receiving a pass from Kang-In Lee, giving the visitors an early edge.

Lookman then made it 2-0 in the 26th minute. The Nigerian forward found space in the penalty area and neatly placed Pablo Barrios' pass into the bottom-left corner.

This goal capped a strong performance from Lookman. He troubled the Sevilla defence with his movement and attacking skills. Earlier, he had a shot from outside the box that was blocked.

Baena scored again in the 33rd minute. He finished well from the edge of the penalty area, putting Atletico 3-0 up before half-time.

Sevilla came back strong after the break. They pulled one back in the 66th minute when Miguel Sierra was quick to react to a rebound in the box.

Lookman was substituted just after this goal. Atletico's manager Diego Simeone brought on Arnau Ortiz as they changed their attacking approach.

The Nigerian forward thought he had scored again right after the restart, but the goal was called offside. He also had another shot from the edge of the box which was blocked before he was taken off.

Sevilla could not find another goal as Atletico controlled the final moments of the match, securing a solid 3-1 away win and all three points.
