Nigeria's Davis Cup team has been training on the clay courts at the Lagos Country Club in Ikeja. They are getting ready for their World Group II match against Morocco. This match is set for September 19 and 20 in Rabat, according to PUNCH Sports Extra.

The match will take place at the Union Sportive des Cheminots de Tennis du Maroc in Rabat.

Six players are currently training at the tennis section of the Lagos Country Club. These players are Canice Abua, Daniel Adeleye, Michael Emmanuel, Abubakar Yusuf, Lucky Danjuma, and Franklin Jimoh.

The team has spent over a week in camp with coach Benson Ishicheli. He has been focusing on their fitness and match readiness.

Nigeria earned their place in the World Group II after defeating Uzbekistan 3-1 at the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club in February. This victory brought fresh ambition among the administrators and players. It also improved Nigeria's standing in the Davis Cup rankings.

Morocco dropped to World Group II after losing their World Group I play-off against Colombia. This match took place at the USM Tennis Club Stadium in Casablanca. There were also some tense moments both on the court and in the stands during the match.

Nigeria's move to World Group II has created a new drive among the team and officials. They are now looking to advance further in the world's top international men's team tennis competition. This tournament is organized by the International Tennis Federation.

The Davis Cup has several levels and is the top international men's team tennis event worldwide.
