Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu, has called up captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and forward Asisat Oshoala for Nigeria’s upcoming friendly matches against Senegal.

A statement from the Nigeria Football Federation’s Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire, said Madugu also brought back experienced midfielder Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene. Forwards Francisca Ordega and Gift Monday are also in the squad.

The coach has given chances to Belarus-based forward Blessing Nkor and Turkey-based midfielder Kafayat Shittu. Home-based players, goalkeeper Anderline Mgbechi, defender Sikiratu Isah, Rofiat Imuran, and Oluwatosin Demehin also made the list.

Other key players include Halimatu Ayinde, Toni Payne, Jennifer Echegini, Christy Ucheibe, Shukurat Oladipo, and Rinsola Babajide.

The Super Falcons will play against Senegal’s Lionesses of Teranga in two friendly matches at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne, Ogun State.

The first match is set for June 6, and the second will take place on June 8. These friendlies are part of their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which runs from July 25 to August 16.
