Two support groups for President Bola Tinubu, the Renewed Hope Agenda Continuity Marshals and Tinubu Torch Bearers, are coming together to boost grassroots support for the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement on Saturday, the groups announced plans to focus on mobilising youths, women, and all Nigerians for Tinubu’s re-election.

This move followed a meeting on Thursday where officials from the Tinubu Torch Bearers visited the REHACMA office in Abuja. During the visit, both groups discussed areas they could work together on, including programs, events, and grassroots engagement.

The Founder and National Coordinator of REHACMA, Rt. Hon. Osawemwenhio Uwagboe, welcomed the delegation and confirmed the group’s willingness to collaborate with others who share similar goals.

"REHACMA is always willing to partner with sister organisations and individuals who share our vision," Uwagboe said.

He praised the leadership of Dr. Mary Alile Idele, noting her dedication to inclusive politics. Uwagboe also highlighted President Tinubu’s policies aimed at young people and stressed the need for ongoing awareness and engagement.

"President Tinubu’s youth-focused policies deserve sustained sensitisation and wider public engagement," he stated. He also acknowledged Dr. Mary Alile Idele, the APC National Women Leader and Convener of TTB, for her commitment to inclusive politics.

In response, Olivia Lonngren, the Director of Administration of TTB, showed the organisation's eagerness to work with REHACMA. She praised the leadership and efforts of REHACMA, expressing hope that the partnership would enhance engagement with youths, women, and Nigerians.

Lonngren mentioned that this collaboration would create a stronger platform for sensitisation programs and grassroots activities.

Both groups agreed to keep discussions going to finalize the details and framework of their partnership.

The areas they plan to collaborate on include joint events, advocacy initiatives, sensitisation programs, and other grassroots activities.

These groups are part of the wider effort to gather support for Tinubu in the lead-up to the 2027 presidential election.
