The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, led by Government Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, will start a major mobilization tour in eight states from 9 to 14 November. This is part of the push to gain support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Sunday Asuku, the National Coordinator of the movement, shared this news in a statement on Sunday.

The tour will cover Enugu, Cross River, Bayelsa, Zamfara, Jigawa, Anambra, Kebbi, and Abia states. It aims to boost support across the South-east, South-south, and North-west regions of Nigeria.

The movement will kick off the tour on Monday, 9 November, starting with Enugu and Cross River states. The event in Enugu is set for 10 a.m. at Okpara Square, while the one in Cross River will take place at 2 p.m. at the Calabar Municipal Field.

On Wednesday, 11 November, the team will head to Bayelsa State for a 10 a.m. event at Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa. The next day, Thursday, 12 November, they will visit Zamfara State for an engagement at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a gathering in Jigawa State at 2 p.m.

The tour continues on Friday, 13 November, with events in Anambra State at 10 a.m. and Kebbi State at 2 p.m. It will wrap up in Abia State on Saturday, 14 November, at 10 a.m. Venues for the Zamfara, Jigawa, Anambra, Kebbi, and Abia events will be announced later.

This tour marks another step in the movement's effort to create a strong grassroots network. The aim is to connect with voters at the ward, local government, and community levels.

The movement has already reached around 20 states and has distributed over 500 vehicles to help with grassroots activities and support its coordinators nationwide.

These vehicles will help improve mobility and coordination. They will also enhance the movement's ability to reach communities, markets, neighborhoods, and other local areas. This way, they can deliver the Tinubu administration's message directly to the people.

This development builds on earlier mobilization efforts that gained national attention. The movement focuses on creating a coordinated network through state, local government, and ward coordinators. These coordinators are expected to share the president's message directly with Nigerians, instead of relying solely on political rallies.

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement also aims to inform people about the Tinubu administration's policies and programs. This includes updates on economic reforms, infrastructure development, education initiatives, local government autonomy, and other policy actions.

Mr Asuku has previously stressed the need for effective grassroots coordination. He highlighted the importance of feedback from communities. He urged state and local government coordinators to ensure the movement reaches every ward and polling unit.
