Premier League clubs are busy strengthening their teams for the 2026/27 season. All 20 teams have made important signings and departures during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal signed Greek winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge. He had 17 goals and 23 assists in the Belgian Pro League last season. Tzolis takes the place of Leandro Trossard, who moved to Besiktas. Jakob Kiwior’s loan to Porto became permanent. Piero Hincapie’s loan from Bayer Leverkusen was also made permanent. Goalkeeper Illan Meslier joined on a free transfer from Leeds United.
Aston Villa strengthened their midfield by signing Alejandro Garnacho on loan from Chelsea, with an option to buy. They also brought in Johan Manzambi from Freiburg, Joao Gomes from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Modou Keba Cissa from LASK. Morgan Rogers moved to Chelsea. Youri Tielemans joined Manchester United, Lewis Dobbin signed for Southampton, while Amadou Onana is out with a long-term injury from the FIFA World Cup.
Bournemouth signed striker Alvaro Rodriguez from Real Madrid after his loan at Elche. Marcos Senesi joined Tottenham Hotspur after his contract ended. Luis Sinisterra and Hamed Traore made permanent moves to Cruzeiro and Marseille respectively.
Brentford brought in teenage defender Jannik Schuster from Red Bull Salzburg, winger Jaidon Anthony from Burnley, and former West Ham United striker Callum Wilson on a free transfer.
Transfers of Other Clubs
Brighton & Hove Albion signed Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm, Costinha from Olympiacos, Michael Svoboda from Venezia, Rodrigo Rego from Benfica, Pascal Struijk from Leeds United, and Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur. Jan Paul van Hecke moved to Spurs. Diego Coppola’s transfer to Paris FC became permanent. Adam Webster and Solly March left on free transfers. James Milner retired after more than 20 years in professional football.
Chelsea made moves under new head coach Xabi Alonso. They signed Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, Geovany Quenda from Sporting, Marco Palestra from Atalanta, and Emmanuel Emegha from Strasbourg. Nicolas Jackson returned from his loan at Bayern Munich. Marc Cucurella joined Real Madrid. Alejandro Garnacho moved to Aston Villa on loan, and Andrey Santos signed for Manchester United.
Coventry City signed Aurele Amenda from Eintracht Frankfurt and Loum Tchaouna. They also made Frank Onyeka’s loan from Brentford permanent.
Crystal Palace added Oscar Mingueza from Celta Vigo, with no first-team players leaving.
More Club Activities
Everton signed Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough, Tyrique George from Chelsea, and Merlin Rohl from Freiburg after making their loan spells permanent. Idrissa Gueye left when his contract expired. Seamus Coleman ended his 17-year stay at the club.
Fulham appointed Alvaro Arbeloa as manager. They signed Jonah Kusi-Asare from Bayern Munich permanently. Issa Diop joined Ipswich Town, while Harry Wilson and Raul Jimenez left as free agents.
Hull City signed Jack Butland, Matt Targett, and Japan international Hidemasa Morita. Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur moved to Rangers.
Ipswich Town brought in Abdul Fatawu from Leicester City, Brazilian striker Emersonn from Toulouse, goalkeeper Kayne van Oevelen, Issa Diop, and made the loan deals of Cedric Kipre and Chuba Akpom permanent.
Key Signings and Departures
Leeds United signed Harry Wilson on a free transfer from Fulham and Tarik Muharemovic from Sassuolo. Pascal Struijk joined Brighton. Illan Meslier signed for Arsenal. Karl Darlow moved to Manchester United, Jack Harrison joined New England Revolution, and Maximilian Wober completed a move to Schalke.
Liverpool, with new manager Andoni Iraola, replaced Mohamed Salah with Spain World Cup winner Victor Munoz from Osasuna. Jeremy Jacquet came in to replace Ibrahima Konate, who joined Real Madrid. Andy Robertson moved to Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester City started a new chapter under Enzo Maresca after Pep Guardiola’s exit. They signed Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest and Jeremy Monga from Leicester City. Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Manuel Akanji, and Nathan Ake all left the club.
Manchester United worked on their midfield by signing Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa and Andrey Santos from Chelsea after Casemiro left as a free agent. Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia also left when their contracts ended. Rasmus Hojlund’s loan to Napoli became permanent.
Newcastle United signed Aladji Bamba from Monaco, Bazoumana Toure from Hoffenheim, goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen, and midfielder Sean Steur from Ajax. Sandro Tonali moved to Tottenham Hotspur, Anthony Gordon signed for Barcelona, and Aaron Ramsdale’s loan ended.
Nottingham Forest sold Elliot Anderson to Manchester City. They replaced him with Xaver Schlager on a free transfer from RB Leipzig. Angus Gunn joined San Jose Earthquakes.
Sunderland signed experienced defender Thomas Meunier, while Eliezer Mayenda moved to Rennes.
Tottenham Hotspur added to their squad with Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United, Mateus Fernandes from West Ham United, Andy Robertson from Liverpool, Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth, Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton, and goalkeeper Martin Dubravka from Burnley. Luka Vuskovic went to Brighton.
The transfer activity is happening less than a month before the new Premier League season starts, as clubs reshape their rosters for the upcoming campaign.
