Yari: Tinubu's Work Will Win Nigerians' Votes in 2027

The Director-General of APC Presidential Campaign Council, Abdullahi Yari, believes that Nigerians will support President Bola Tinubu for re-election in 2027 based on his achievements.

Yari made this statement in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where he joined Tinubu and other notable Nigerians to perform the Muslim lesser Hajj, known as Umrah. His comments were shared through a statement from his Media Office on Saturday in Abuja.

Yari, who is also a former Governor of Zamfara State, emphasized the APC-PCC's dedication to winning over Nigerian voters to help Tinubu secure a second term.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reminds us that on Friday, Tinubu expressed his strong faith in God regarding his chances in the 2027 presidential election. He said, "I believe that Allah’s wish in His court must prevail, and there is no other God but Allah."

He added, "Allah is the only one who can define a human being, what he will be and what he will become."

Yari highlighted Tinubu’s reliance on God, his past performance, and the APC-PCC's ability to win the support of the Nigerian people as key factors that would lead to Tinubu's success in 2027.

He said, "In total, I depend on Allah to do it for him (Tinubu) as he did it for him in 2023. We will campaign and talk to people."

Yari continued, "We will campaign to convince them, to show them what we have done and have achieved, and by God’s grace, they will be convinced to re-elect us."
